Dr. Michael Bianco graduated with an undergraduate degree in Biology from Johns Hopkins University before pursuing additional advanced degrees in the fields of cellular and molecular biology, medical sciences, and an MBA. Following some time working in forensic science research, he attended Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, where he received his medical degree. He completed internal medicine training at Greenwich Hospital, Yale New Haven Health, and went on to pursue a cardiovascular disease fellowship at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pennsylvania, where he served as chief fellow.
Originally from Long Island, Dr. Bianco eventually moved back to New York for further training in interventional cardiology and structural heart disease at Albany Medical Center. Dr. Bianco enjoys being able to take care of his patients from the catheterization lab to the office with the latest technology and advances in medicine and the most up-to-date research. When not working closely with his patients to achieve cardiovascular health, he enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife, who is also a physician, and his four children (three boys and one girl). He enjoys outdoor activities like skiing, biking, hiking, and playing in the yard with the kids, as well as all things automotive, including working on cars and taking care of general maintenance items.
