Dr. Eugene Pashkovetsky graduated Cum Laude from State University of New York Stony Brook with a major in Biology and minor in Chemistry. While at Stoney Brook, he was also on the Dean’s List, a member of Phi Beta Kappa, the Golden Key Honor Society, and National Society of Collegiate Scholars. He received his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine (Grenada, West Indies), where he also taught all materials in Microbiology to medical students. Dr. Pashkovetsky’s post graduate training was at Northwell Health – Lenox Hill Hospital with a residency in Internal Medicine.
His fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease took place at Albany Medical Center. He continued his fellowship at Westchester Medical Center in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology.
After his post-graduate training, Dr. Pashkovetsky provided inpatient care in coordination with hospital departments to ensure high quality patient care before joining private practice. Dr. Pashkovetsky joined Capital Cardiology Associates in the summer of 2019. He is a member of the American College of Physicians and part of an active research project (2019) at Westchester Medical Center on primary graft dysfunction and early mortality in heart transplants from drug overdose donors.
