Dr. Edeliz Flores is an interventional cardiologist with specialized expertise in the invasive management of complex coronary artery disease and heart failure. Her clinical focus includes the cardiovascular complications of pregnancy, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of coronary and structural heart disease. She is committed to a patient-centered approach, taking the time to understand each individual’s history, lifestyle, and goals. Dr. Flores believes that shared decision-making is essential to achieving the best outcomes, ensuring that every treatment plan is developed collaboratively and with compassion.

Born in Puerto Rico and raised in the Catskills, Dr. Flores earned her undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering from Boston University, where she developed a strong foundation in the intersection of technology and medicine. She went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine from Albany Medical College, then returned to Boston to complete her residency in internal medicine and fellowship in general cardiology at Boston Medical Center. She pursued additional advanced training in interventional cardiology, equipping her with the skills to perform complex procedures using cutting-edge techniques and technologies.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Flores lives in the Capital Region with her husband and their two young sons.
