Dr. Connor Healey was raised in Eastern Ontario, Canada and attended medical school at St. George’s University in Grenada where he graduated cum laude. He completed his internal medicine residency and cardiovascular fellowship at NYU Winthrop Hospital on Long Island.
Dr. Healey holds board certification in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease, as well as subspecialty certification in echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and vascular medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
Dr. Healey has a wide variety of interests in general cardiology in his role as a non-invasive practitioner. His patients present for guidance and treatment of congestive heart failure, valvular heart disease, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, coronary artery disease, atrial fibrillation and other cardiac dysrhythmias. They also seek expertise on preventive cardiology, risk stratification and pre-operative assessment. He believes in an individualized approach to cardiac care and emphasizes shared decision-making with his patients.
He is married to his loving wife who is a Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician at Albany Medical Center. They have 2 young, energetic daughters. Outside of work Dr. Healey enjoys many athletic activities including golf, baseball, table tennis, and hockey. He is a loyal fan of the Ottawa Senators and Toronto Blue Jays.
