Yesterday marked the inaugural session of Capital Cardiology's Enhanced Weight Management's "Healthy Life Essentials: Nutrition/Fitness Basics" class at our Albany office. Participants explored fundamental aspects of well-being from our expert exercise physiologists and registered dietitians, including:

  • Basics of healthy eating

  • Nutrition tips from our dietitians, covering ways to optimize weight through nutrient-dense foods

  • Mindful eating and portion control

  • The importance of hydration for overall health and an active life, with insights from our exercise physiologists on safe and effective exercise techniques, proper equipment use, and smart approaches for endurance, strength, and flexibility.
