Chasing Health, Inc. Hypertension Awareness Walk

Capital Cardiology Associates had a fantastic time for a great cause on Saturday, October 12, at the Chasing Health, Inc. Hypertension Awareness Walk in Albany's beautiful and historic Washington Park!

Our dedicated providers and staff were on-site offering free blood pressure screenings and sharing valuable information about hypertension awareness.

What is Hypertension?
Often called "the silent killer," hypertension rarely shows symptoms but can lead to serious conditions like heart attack, stroke, and kidney disease if left untreated.

How to Manage and Control Hypertension:

  • Follow a heart-healthy diet with reduced salt

  • Exercise regularly and stay active

  • Limit alcohol and avoid smoking

  • Practice stress management techniques

  • Take prescribed medications consistently

Even small improvements in blood pressure can make a big difference for long-term heart health!

This event is part of our CCA Gives Back initiative, continuing our dedication to promoting healthier lifestyles and supporting our community. Thank you to everyone who walked with us and made this event a success!
