CCA Celebrates Pharmacy Week
Celebrate National Pharmacy Week with us at CCA! Although we don't have a dispensing pharmacy, we integrate clinical pharmacists into our patient care team. Our devoted pharmacy professionals play a pivotal role in empowering patients with knowledge about their medications. They help patients comprehend the significance of taking medications, ensure they remember to take them, address concerns regarding side effects and interactions, and work tirelessly to make medications affordable and accessible. They act as a bridge, simplifying the complexities of medications and healthcare for our patients.
We take immense pride in our growing clinical pharmacy team, which now comprises three pharmacists, a pharmacy resident, a pharmacy technician, a nurse, and two medication access specialists. Additionally, we welcome pharmacy students from ACPHS on a regular basis, enriching our team further.
Pharmacists are indispensable members of our healthcare system, promoting the health and well-being of patients by ensuring optimal medication usage. They serve as a vital link between patients and the intricate world of medications and healthcare, providing valuable support to both.
