Melissa Raduazzo, FNP-BC
Melissa Raduazzo, grew up locally in the Halfmoon area and is a graduate of Shenendehowa High School. She originally attended college at SUNY Brockport on a dance scholarship, and soon realized her true calling was caring for others. She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2005 from Brockport. She started her nursing career at Albany Medical Center in the Cardiac Care Unit. She has always had a passion for cardiology and continued to provide care for cardiac patients during her nursing career, whether in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab or the CCU, and worked at several local hospitals as a registered nurse.
While working in the cardiac catheterization lab at Saratoga Hospital to help launch their PCI program, Melissa decided to further her career and attended SAGE College, where she obtained her Master’s Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner with board certification in 2015. Melissa started her nurse practitioner career at Albany Associates in Cardiology, and gained invaluable knowledge and experience in her 3 years there by rounding on the cardiac floors at St. Peter’s Hospital and working in the pacemaker clinic at the office.
Melissa was offered an amazing opportunity at Capital Cardiology Associates to further her interest in electrophysiology. She started here in 2018 and works closely with the Electrophysiology doctors as well as the Device clinic.
When not working, Melissa enjoys traveling and spending time at the beach, however her favorite thing is spending time with her husband and son.
