Manuel R. Tapia, MD, FACC grew up in Schenectady, NY. He graduated Cum Laude from Temple University with a major in Kinesiology. He attended SUNY Downstate Medical Center and completed his internal medicine residency at NYU Langone Medical Center in New York City. After his post-graduate training downstate, Dr. Tapia returned home to the Capital District to train further in Cardiovascular Disease at Albany Medical Center. Dr. Tapia is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
Dr. Tapia joined Capital Cardiology Associates in the summer of 2017. He is also fluent in Spanish; including medical Spanish.
